My approach to family photography is relaxed and family-focused. During each session, I provide a mix of gently posed portraits and candid images that highlight authentic interactions. You can expect a variety of shots, including:

  • Daddy-and-me moments
  • Playful interactions and candid laughter

This combination ensures your gallery feels complete and full of variety, with photographs you’ll treasure for both their beauty and their honesty. My editing style is true to color, giving your images a timeless look that will remain classic for years.

Studio Session

At my Watertown WI Studio. Recommended package for family sessions. About an hour, 40-50 edited images with print release.

Offered May - October, or by request November - April, locations throughout Waukesha County, 1 hour, 40-50 images with print release.

Document your family where you are most comfortable, at home. Additional travel fee for over 30 miles from Watertown studio.

Studio & Outdoor Family Sessions

From May through October, I offer outdoor family sessions at beautiful locations throughout Waukesha County and southeastern Wisconsin. I have a list of favorite local spots that provide gorgeous backdrops — from open fields and golden sunsets to wooded paths and lakeside views. I’m also open to exploring new places that are meaningful to your family, or even photographing your session at your own home for a personal touch.

For families who prefer an indoor option, I also offer studio sessions year-round in my Watertown, WI studio. The studio’s natural light and cozy setups create a comfortable space for families with younger children or for those who love the simplicity of a clean, timeless look.


What to Expect During Your Session

Family sessions are meant to be fun and stress-free. I’ll guide you through some simple poses but also encourage movement and play — tickle fights, walking hand-in-hand, or kids running through a field. These moments bring out natural smiles and create images that feel real, not stiff or forced.

My goal is always to make sure your family feels comfortable and connected throughout the session. I focus on the little in-between moments — the way your child reaches for your hand, the way siblings laugh together, or the look parents share when they pause to take it all in. These are the photographs that will become the most meaningful over time.
