It is always an incredible honor to be trusted with capturing newborn and family portraits, but it’s even more special when a fellow photographer chooses me to document their growing family! Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a beautiful newborn session for a talented photographer and their sweet family.
The two older sisters were absolutely precious, showering their new baby sister with love and snuggles. Their bond was heartwarming to witness, and we captured so many tender moments that this family will cherish forever.
The newborn baby girl slept so soundly through the entire session, allowing us to create a gorgeous variety of images. We styled the session with a soft, neutral color palette accented with gentle shades of pinks, purples, and greens, creating a timeless and delicate feel. Every detail came together perfectly, making this session one to remember.
If you’re expecting, now is the perfect time to book your newborn session! I am currently booking newborn sessions through July 2025, and I highly recommend securing your session early to guarantee a spot on my calendar. Ideally, newborn photos are taken within the first three weeks of life to capture all the tiny, sleepy newborn details. I am always asked by moms to be how they should pick a date since they don't know exactly when their little one will arrive, cause lets face it babies rarely are born on their due date. so The best time to schedule for is about a week or two after your due date, but if your little one arrives early or late, we can always adjust as needed. I only take on so many photo sessions per month so I can have flexibility for moms if we need to reschedule, that is why securing your spot early is so important!
